Out of this wonderful place I am
Is a world yet to be discovered
Out of this wonderful place I am
Is a menace and felicity to uncover
The weather seems to favor
My voyaging to a land unknown
My eagerness to leave so fervor
That I hastily laid my sail sewn
The waves won't go crashin'
The boat I am cruisin
To the future I am heading
The past, I am leaving
To cross multiple culture
To culture different creature
Welcome to the departure
Would you join me to my venture?

Bear with me for I wrote today an elegy
My lamentation is on its apogee
My soul bent her knee,
Crying aloud to the Almighty.
I thought today's a good day for nostalgia
So I walked around the plaza
There I saw two kind of trees:
Real, and made of metal piece.
The real: ravishing and towering
The metal: durable and strapping
However, I noticed that they have something alike
On a sod they stand, before a tyke
Oh how terrible I must be
A sinner … a rag so filthy
Yet You called me by Your side
And told me, "Do no longer hide"
A friend I am neither a tree that's real
Nor the metal one that's surreal
What a shame this I feel
My whole being suffers an ill
If absence makes the heart grow fonder,
I must've gone so long that your heart broke over
"Make up for lost time!", I thought when I'm sober
Only to find out the time is over
Now, I'm feeling achy
My Lord, I'm praying to Thee
Heal my soul, heal me
Restore our friendship; make it like a tree

If there is someone my Lord,
Let it be You.
The One in my heart,
Wholly, I give not just a part
If there is something my Lord
Let it be You.
My source of everything.
The reason I only sing.
If there is somewhere my Lord,
Let it be You.
To You I go for a rest.
Your presence is my nest.

They tell me I'm too young
I see them too old
They tell me it's worthless
I see them heedless
Is life always like this?
Speck on your eyes they see
But speck on theirs they let it be
Then they give you a hiss
With a face frowned
When giving you a crown
Of labels with what they call you
That might seem to be true
But they are not
They're just a knot
On your straight beauty
Because they envy thee

The beauty of sunset I cannot see
Blinded by these thorns before me.
But I thank God for a great reminder
There's a day: an emerging another
Indeed, every goodbye is painful
For some, it is baneful.
But take hope for every the end,
Comes another beginning to mend.

I'm on top of a hill during a cold night so starry
Overseeing the busy, moving city
And there I am, standing beside a tree
Nothing with but the moon shining on me …
While I scream at the top of my lungs, feeling eerie
I'm dead tired Oh Lord, help me
